Pacific Coast Highway

December 13, 2011

I found out about the Pacific Coast Highway (also known as Highway 1 or CA-1) before I arrived in San Francisco. It’s supposed to be a very scenic route and since I’m planning on visiting Los Angeles and San Diego I decided to take this route.

Los Angeles

The only things I could picture whenever I think of San Francisco before I visited were the Golden Gate Bridge and cable cars. Those are the things I usually see in magazines or online whenever I see an article about it. Now that I’ve been here, …

Reno

December 6, 2011

I stopped in Reno really just to sleep after a long, boring, 8-9 hour drive from Utah. It’s weird to be driving for hours not seeing much around you then all of a sudden you see all these lights as you approach the city.

I figured I’ll spend the night here before continuing to California as the hotels are much cheaper. I could then spend a good portion of the following day in San Francisco. …
